Vintage Gene Autry Items
In November of 2008, Gene Autry Entertainment made several vintage Gene Autry items from its collection available for sale exclusively through the Autry Museum's Store. All of the items are original (not reproduction) and in good to excellent condition.
Throughout his entertainment career, Gene Autry commissioned original Christmas cards to send to friends and associates. This card, circa 1947, features an illustration of a campfire scene with Gene Autry playing his guitar while three cowboys sit nearby. The inside reads "HOLIDAY GREETINGS FROM MELODY RANCH Gene Autry and Champ" with an illustration of Gene Autry riding Champion while pulling a pine tree behind them as they enter Melody Ranch.
Throughout his entertainment career, Gene Autry commissioned original Christmas cards to send to friends and associates. This card, circa 1946, features an illustration of Gene Autry on his horse Champion and a "rope" script greeting of "Merry Christmas, Folks" on the front. The inside reads "Back in the saddle again Gene Autry and Champ" with illustrations of an airplane and saddle.
