Christmas Carols by the Old Corral
Gene Autry's Melody Ranch Radio Show
(December 23, 1945)

Gene Autry's popular radio show, Melody Ranch, resumed on the CBS Radio Network in September 1945 when Gene returned to civilian life after his service in World War II. The show was an abbreviated 15 minute version sponsored by Wrigley's Gum that included music, comedy, and ranch-country conversation.

That's announcer Lou Crosby introducing the song and Paul Sell's Orchestra backing Gene. This is the only known recorded performance of Gene Autry singing "Christmas Carols by the Old Corral."
